Is this astrology?
Not exactly. While we draw on Chinese cosmological frameworks that have influenced Chinese astrology, DaoMirror is closer to a philosophical and symbolic reflection system than predictive astrology. We are interested in patterns and resonances, not forecasts.
Is this the same as BaZi or Chinese astrology?
DaoMirror draws on some of the same philosophical roots as BaZi and Chinese astrology — the Five Elements, Yin/Yang, and Taoist principles — but is not a traditional BaZi reading. We use these frameworks as symbolic and poetic lenses, not as a technical chart system.
